Across my career, I have served in nearly every role within Learning & Development — working under both Human Resources and Operations. This breadth of experience gives me a deep understanding of how people, systems, and business needs intersect. I’ve successfully stepped into industries where I had no prior background — including healthcare, public libraries, and grocery — and quickly built credibility by creating connections with subject matter experts. I believe I do not have to know the business on day one; what matters is building psychologically safe environments where experts can share their knowledge with me, build trust, and in turn, I bring expertise in human capital, organizational development, learning strategy, change management, and project leadership. Over time, I immerse myself fully — as I have in the industries I work in — gaining fluency in the language, culture, and challenges of the field. I honor what individuals and teams bring to the table, while also sharing frameworks and solutions that elevate both people and performance.
